University of Augsburg
Modern, international and great chances
The University of Augsburg was founded in 1970 and is one of the younger universities of Bavaria. More than 19.000 students are registered in one of approximately 80 courses of studies. The courses offered comprise a wide range in the humanities and social sciences, natural and technological sciences, law, economics and theology.
Due to the versatile and partly unique study offer, the university is considered as an attractive institution for students in Germany and equally for students from all over the world. Around 10% of the students come from abroad.
University of Applied Sciences
Founded in 1971 the University of Applied Sciences has about 5400 students. The institution offers about 34 courses (16 Bachelor courses) and focuses on economy, technique, design and information technology.
The university’s targets are a future-oriented education and a close combination between practical teachings and applied research. Thus, the University of Applied Sciences also offers several courses in a Dual System.
Through the international orientation of the institution the students can gather new experiences: there is the opportunity of an academic exchange with 102 universities in 30 countries.
